We're delighted to support a market leader of therapeutic Children's Residential Services recruit for a Residential Support Worker to join their home in the Durham area. This is a beautiful home set is a stunning rural location and furnished to a high standard, it's a lovely home with a good atmosphere.

Duties include
- Provide support for the children living in the home
- Building effective working relationships with the young people, other staff members, internal and external stakeholders
- Assisting with care planning and assessment
- Ensure all records are up to date
- Assist the children and young people with emotional support and with practical tasks
- Work on a shift pattern to ensure 24/7 cover including lates, earlies, sleep ins and waking nights (additional payment provided)

You will have
- At least 1 year previous Residential Support Work experience within a therapeutic Children's Home setting
- NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or willing to work towards
- Excellent communication skills
- Good administration skills
- Committment to the highest levels of childcare practice
- Flexibility to work the variety of shifts required
- Full UK Driving License
