Job Title: Helpdesk Technician

**Salary**: £18,000 per annum
Location: Biggleswade
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm

COMPANY PROFILE

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for our client based in Hertfordshire. They are looking for a Helpdesk Technician who is focused on the needs of customers to serve as the customer's first point of contact and provide technical support.

SKILLS REQUIRED
- Strong IT skills
- Excellent customer service
- Knowledge of networking and software installations is beneficial
- Confident and professional telephone manner
- Previous Helpdesk experience is advantageous

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handling incoming call requests, resolving them where possible
- Remotely connect onto customers system to resolve issues
- Maintain accurate and concise records on the call tracking software
- Escalate potential issues to senior helpdesk staff
- Loggings and closing all support requests
- Any other ad hoc duties when required
