This is an exciting opportunity to join the talented team in a Trust wide role supporting the Oncology Service within the CSS Division. The post-holder will provide a high quality clinical presence, together with high standards of education, training, research and audit.

The post holder will work in close co-operation with nursing, managerial and medical colleagues to provide high quality healthcare to the Trusts patients.

- The appointee will be expected, in conjunction with his/her colleagues, to provide a service for the department.
- To attend regular Clinical Audit, Critical Incident Reporting, Morbidity & Mortality and Medical Departmental Team meetings.
- The appointee will have continuing responsibility for patients in his / her care and for the proper functioning of the department.
- He/she will be required to play an active part in the robust clinical governance programme in operation within the Department and to take part in local, regional and national audits.
- Involvement in research, where appropriate is encouraged.
