- We are looking for a Head of Reporting to join our UK&I Controllership team and oversees the Financial Reporting team and Statutory Accounting team.**Responsibilities**
- Manage and lead the Financial Reporting and Statutory Accounting teams.
- The Financial Reporting team (2 direct reports, 9 indirect reports) are responsible for balance sheet reconciliations, the balance sheet flux analysis control, lease entries and fixed assets.
- The Statutory Accounting team (1 direct report, 2 indirect reports) are responsible for Group external audit work, statutory external audit work, accounts preparation and JV accounting.
- Adhere to the period-end close timetable.
- Ensure financial transactions are compliant with US GAAP & Local GAAP.
- Own all controls administered by the Financial Reporting team.
- Act as the primary relationship holder with the external auditors - responsible for successful delivery of all stages of the audit and filing of signed accounts by the statutory deadlines.
- Build and develop high level relationships with key stakeholders within Controllership and the wider business.
- Work with audit / SOX / Controllership teams to drive process change and control enhancement.
- Provide support to the wider Controllership team when required (e.g. assistance with administering SOX controls & reviews).

**Person Specification**
- ACA or ACCA qualified accountant or equivalent
- Proven team leadership & people management experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Accounts preparation experience
- Ability to explain technical issues in a simple, succinct and understandable way
- Big 4 external audit experience is desirable
