Cook/catering Assistant

Jump for Joy and join our team We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to cook up a storm in our Kitchen & Café at at senior level within our family play and party venue. Previous kitchen/café experience is desired.

The applicant must be competent to deliver food hygiene standards and quality food service in a busy working environment. The willingness to promote our café and develop the kitchen & cafe team is also essential. This role will involve working alone and as part of a team. No split shifts, late nights - Weekend work on a rota basis.

Duties include but are not limited to
- To motivate, inspire and lead the team to ensure we have a positive, efficiant cafe area.
- Ensure the prompt provision and efficient service of all meals and party requirements at the specified time Be able to prepare all menu items and have a full understanding of ingredients.
- To monitor quality of food and use staff and customer feedback to improve product To follow all kitchen procedures and policies. Including stock, wastage, temp checks etc Manage the quality and hygiene of the food cycle from preparation through to delivery To ensure food hygiene standards are observed.
- To ensure daily administration records and cleaning checklists are complete
- To ensure the Service, café floor and the surroundings are kept tidy and clean at all times
- To ensure that the visual presentation of the service counter and the seating areas are always of a high standard

We required to provide an enhanced disclosure. Disclosure expense will be met by employer.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to £10.25 per hour
