The Executive Headteacher and Governing body of Ryton Infant and Junior School Federation are seeking to appoint a School Business Manager. We are looking for a professional to work across the Federation which comprises of a Nursery, Infant and Junior School. You will work closely with all members of the school community to ensure that we offer safe and inviting facilities and outstanding experiences for pupils, staff, parents and visitors

You will be responsible for;
Provide strategic support to the Executive Headteacher, Senior Leadership Team and Governing Body on all aspects of school business management.

Manage the disciplines of finance, human resources including recruitment, IT, whole school administration and marketing as required.

Negotiate, manage and monitor contracts, tenders and agreements ensuring 'best value' at all times.

Manage the Federation’s resources, including IT, to maximise efficiency and ensure record management systems are in place

Prepare regular management accounts for budget holders and report on financial state of the school to Governors using Agresso and other IT packages.

Formulate, monitor and implement the school's safety policy to comply with National requirements and standards.

Providing Leadership to non - teaching staff - Site Manager, Office Administrators and Mid-day Supervisors

You must be a team-player with a commitment to provide excellent service and a passion for helping children reach their full potential.

Visits to the school will take place on Monday 13th February when you can meet the Executive Headteacher and current School Business Manager
