**Confident Driver**:Desirable, a reliable car and be willing to use this until the end of the year when the employer gets his car. Millage at 40p Per mile will be paid.

**Pay Rate **£9.50 per hour plus 5.6 weeks AL Pro Rata

This post is for a Support Worker and companion to a smart, articulate and sociable young man with full capacity. He uses a wheelchair to get around so you will be required to undertake the training in Moving and assisting training provided as he occasionally need a bit of help with transferring. He is looking to employ someone responsible and preferably with experience. Your role would be to provide support socially and with all some aspects of daily living as required including assistance with personal care if needed.

The person’s interests include: - travel, music, Keep fit and the gym, YouTube, tattoo’s art, nature programmes, and computer games.

Two up to date Reference contacts are required one of which must be from a present or previous employer. In addition a new PVG enhanced disclosure will be required prior to appointment (disclosure cost to be met by the employer).

Probationary Period attached a 6 months to this post. During this period, either party can end the employment by giving the other one weeks’ notice.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 10 per week

Pay: £10.50 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ayr, KA7 4NZ: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
