**Jewson Edinburgh, Ratcliffe Terrace** is on the hunt for a **Sales Advisor** who's as passionate about great service as we are

This is an exciting and varied role covering all areas of sales and customer service in our busy timber specialist branch in the heart of Edinburgh. You'll find yourself building relationships with customers and driving sales in branch, as well as helping out in the yard and warehouse when needed Don't worry, we'll train you on forklift use and how to operate the sawmill so you can support our customers even more.
- **Hours**_ : 7.30-5.00 Monday-Friday and every other Saturday morning 8-12
- **Location**:_ 15-25 Ratcliffe Terrace, Edinburgh EH9 1SX
- **Key Responsibilities of a Jewson Sales Advisor**:_
- Get to know our product lines and services in order to make the most of all customer interactions in line with our Jewson values
- Develop great relationships with new and existing customers (both face to face and over the phone), understanding their needs and providing proactive advice and solutions so that you can deliver the best experience possible
- Dealing with lapsed accounts and generating sales with new and existing customers
- Use our in-house systems to process customer orders, organise delivery times, and keep customers updated throughout their journey
- Keep the branch and looking clean and tidy, to make a great first impression on our customers
- Maintain stock levels, carrying out regular stock counts
- Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement
- **Required Skills and Experience**:_
- Previous industry experience preferred but not essential
- Experience in a customer facing/sales environment
- Passion for working with people
- Flexible with a positive can-do attitude
