This is the first Purchase Ledger Supervisor role I have come across that doesn’t require managerial experience. All my client asks for is a solid 2 years’ experience in Purchase Ledger. So, this is perfect if you are looking to take a step up into a more senior role.

The Head of Finance started their career in this very role, so you can see there is plenty of room for growth and development. This is a great step into management, overseeing junior members of staff. The team are very self-sufficient and don’t need micro-managing however, will need support day-to-day with managing the purchase ledger function, so it’s essential you have purchase ledger experience.

My client is looking for a real go-getter, someone who is looking to get stuck and bring a hands-on approach to the business. If you have ideas or want to make suggestions, then the business is completely open to a fresh set of eyes, as you will have the power to implement new procedures. This is ideal if you’re currently in a role where you have ideas, but don’t have the authority to bring them forward.

It’s a very relaxed environment, everyone in the team has lunch together - you’ll be able to bond with your peers on a personal level, building great relationships all over the business. It is far from corporate - there is no dress code, everyone just cracks on and does a good job.
