Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN support practitioner to join our team. As a Support Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing care and assistance to individuals with special needs and supporting them by assisting to them on a 1:1 basis. Your primary responsibility will be to support and educate individuals to help them achieve their goals and enhance their quality of life.

**Responsibilities**:

- Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and other team members
- Provide support and care for toddlers with special needs, including assisting with daily activities and routines
- Implement individualized support plans and behavior plans
- Assist in developing and implementing strategies to promote independence and skill development
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as therapists and educators, to ensure coordinated care
- Monitor progress and document observations and interventions
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to individuals and their families

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working with children with special needs, particularly those on the autism spectrum
- Knowledge of special education principles and practices
- Ability to educate and engage individuals in meaningful activities
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
