**Job Title**:Warehouse, Stores and Forklift Operative

**Location**:Headcorn, Kent

**Salary**:£24,544

**Hours**:Monday to Friday 7.00am - 3.30pm

**Benefits**:

- 25 days annual leave + bank holidays
- Overtime available, paid at x1.5
- Christmas shutdown

**Key responsibilities within your new role would be to**:

- Maintain the storage areas of the factory including the dry stores, chill store and cold store, and ensure they are in a good, clean and tidy condition.
- Maintain the forklift trucks and ensure they are in a good and safe working condition.
- Ensure safe usage of the forklift trucks and complete all required documentation.
- Receipt and document incoming raw materials (Raw Material Intake Procedure) for traceability and intake checks.
- Be responsible for stock rotation to ensure products don't expire.
- Prepare finished products for dispatch.
- Drive the company van to gather and deliver goods between the two company sites.
- Control the movements in the yard.
- General housekeeping of the site.

**Experience and skills required for this position**:

- You **MUST **have a valid forklift licence (this cannot be an in-house licence)
- You **MUST **have a valid driving licence.
- The ability to work in cold environments (fleece lined PPE is provided)
- Experience within a food environment, desirable not essential
- The ability to work alone but also as part of a team
- The ability to read and speak a good level of English
