Premiere Personnel are currently recruiting for a semi-skilled joiner/ labourer to work at one of prestigious York (Sherriff Hutton YO60) based manufacturing sites.

**IMMEDIATE START**
**6 WEEK TEMP CONTRACT**
**POTENTIAL FOR FURTHER ONGOING WORK**

You will be working on behalf of an industry leading manufacturer of timber playground equipment used nationwide throughout schools, parks, and commercial sites.

Our client offers truly unique, bespoke design so no 2 jobs will be the same.

**ROLE**:
You will be based in a busy joinery workshop where you will assist with the manufacturing of unique timber products.

**DUTIES**:

- Reading from technical drawings
- Cutting timber to size
- Assembling large wooden items
- Using a variety of hand tools
- Use of various cutting machinery and tools

**PAY**:
£12 - £15 p/h depending on experience

**SHIFTS**:
08:00 - 16:00
Monday to Thursday
08:00 - 15:00
Friday

**SKILLS**:
Ideally, you should have a formal qualification in joinery/ woodwork, but we will also accept applicants who have worked in similar environments.

You must be able to interpret technical drawings, cutting lists and use woodcutting machinery/ hand tools.

You must be able to work to a high standard both alone and as part of a larger team.
