Baker - Viennoiserie

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team. The Baker will be knowledgable in the field of "viennoiserie" as that is what we specialise in at Laynes Bakery. We are happy and willing to train and hone skills on the job.
Experience in dough lamination and knowledge of standard bakery equipment such as laminators, provers and retarders is essential.
**Responsibilities**:
- Prepare a wide range of baked goods such as pastries, cakes, and cookies
- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes
- Bake items using the appropriate equipment and tools
- Decorate baked goods as needed
- Ensure all products meet quality and presentation standards
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
**Skills**:
- Experience in food production, particularly in baking
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices
- Culinary skills with a focus on baking techniques
- Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting
- Ability to bake, cook, and perform various food preparation tasks
We're looking for someone to join in either a part time or full time capacity (let us know a preference) who are looking for somewhere to utilise their creative ability and that can bring ideas to the business.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From £12.00 per hour
