Brief Description of role:
Overview: As a CF Global event porter, your role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation and success of an event. You will work behind the scenes to support various departments, including hospitality, retail, logistics, and event management.
Set-Up and Organization: Pre-event, you may be required to assist in setting up the back of house areas, including storage areas, preparation spaces, and staff facilities. This often involves unloading and counting catering kit, arranging equipment, supplies, and signage as per the designated plans.
General Kitchen Portering: CF Porters are responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and washing any crockery, utensils, pots/pans etc. We are to ensure the efficient flow of clean items throughout the back of house. This role is crucial in maintaining a well-organized and sanitized environment, supporting the smooth operation of the kitchen
Breakdown/ De-Rig: The post-event breakdown is a crucial process that involves systematically collecting all catering equipment, such as crockery, cutlery and glassware, any kit that was hired for the event is to be identified and differentiated from venue owned kit, before being packed securely into the correct crates in order to perform an accurate count and to avoid breakages. These crates are then carefully packed onto pallets and are tightly wrapped, ready for collection
**Job Type**: Zero hours contract
**Salary**: £11.00-£12.00 per hour
