Electricians Mate

Following procurement of new contracts and clients, SJM Electrical Services are excited to be recruiting for a new role within our growing team**. **We are seeking an Electrician’s Mate/Improver to join our team working on projects and reactive maintenance.

**The Electricians Mate role**:

- Assisting a qualified Electrician with electrical installations across the domestic and commercial sectors
- Ensure work is completed to a high standard, in line with SJM's Standard of Workmanship
- To arrive on time to every appointment and keep the customer updated if this is not achievable
- Ensure that all our customers are treated fairly; that we deliver fair customer outcomes, and we place the customer at the heart of what we do, supporting the delivery of a customer centric organisation
- To be polite, courteous, and helpful to every customer; you are an ambassador for SJM
- To carry out any other ad-hoc duties as requested by senior management
- Full training on company processes will be delivered
- Clean driving licence and own car/van

**What will you bring as an Electricians Mate?**
- Previous experience working in a maintenance or similar trade-based environment is preferred
- Qualified to an NVQ Level 1 or 2 as an Electrician would be very advantageous but not essential
- The ability to work competently and considerately in a range of environments, with a can-do, flexible approach to working
- The ability to be adaptable, a problem solver and to use your initiative whilst also recognising the importance of communication and teamwork
- CSCS card essential
- Clean driving licence and own car/van
