**Coach Fleet Management Assistant**
**We're looking for a Coach Fleet Management Assistant to join the team at our head office in Begbroke, Oxfordshire.**
**About Vans For Bands**
Vans for Bands (VFB) is a leading supplier of sleeper coaches and splitter vans to customers from across the music, comedy, events, theatre and TV production and sports industries.
**Job Overview**
You will have responsibility for overseeing the invoicing and administering the hire agreements for all of our sleeper coach hires, alongside managing, scheduling and recruiting our team of PSV drivers across our 16-coach fleet in order to ensure we deliver a high-quality service in accordance with current legal requirements.
You will also be involved in quoting for and scheduling tours, and managing quality control of our bus fleet.
**Duties will include**
- Invoicing for booked hires and correspondence with clients before, during and after tours.
- Generating new business through contact with tour managers and following up on quotations.
- Managing, maintaining and recruiting for our PSV driver team.
- Managing PSV driver payment in consultation with our accounts department.
- Quality control and pre and post hire checks of our bus fleet.
- Overseeing the laundry and control of the consumable stock for the bus fleet.
- Delivering basic PSV driver training on company policies & managing a driver training database.
There is an opportunity for the role to develop to support the Sleeper Bus Manager with other departmental tasks as operationally required.
**Experience and qualities**
- The ability to take initiative, make informed decisions and problem solve in a variety of situations, including logistics would be beneficial to this role.
- Prior experience in invoicing or HR would be a bonus, but is not necessary
- Knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work Act
- A PSV license is desirable but not necessary
**Remuneration and hours**

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£26,300.00 per year
