- The GCD Operations team’s work is at the heart of the FCA’s operational decision making and affords a holistic overview of the FCA’s operation as a business.

- Associate- Qualified lawyer: generally a person who is newly qualified to 3 years’ PQE, or equivalent experience- Senior Associate- Qualified Lawyer: generally a person who is a minimum 3 years’ PQE, or equivalent experience- Lead Associate- Qualified Lawyer: generally a person who is a minimum 10 years’ PQE, or equivalent experience- Key criteria- strong analytical skills and the ability to deliver good and clear analysis of issues-
- ability to learn about new or novel legal issues quickly and with enthusiasm, with the oversight and support of colleagues-
- ability to create solutions and deliver pragmatic outcome-focused judgements-
- ability to advise in a confident and reasoned manner, and to challenge appropriately-
- ability to build and sustain positive relationships and good communication skills, and-
- good IT skills.- Salary: The FCA has London and National pay ranges to reflect regional differences. Roles in Edinburgh and Leeds will be on the National pay range. The FCA pay ranges are:
- Associate: £42,000 to £64,000 (London) and £41,000 to £61,000 (National)-
- Senior Associate: £61,000 to £91,000 (London) and £55,000 to £82,000 (National)-
- Lead Associate: £67,000 to £101,000 (London) and £60,300 to £91,000 (National)We also offer a flexible- benefits package
