Swimming Instructor

Swimming Instructor teaching group and private classes Stages 1 to Stage 7 following the Swim England Learn to Swim programme.

**Initial shift available : Mondays 4-7pm term time only.**

With optional intensive courses run during school holidays and cover hours, hopefully leading to further shifts as we grow.

Small classes with a maximum ratio of 5:1 teaching in the water.

To provide fun but structured lessons to develop each swimmer at their own pace whilst developing their skills, confidence and technical abilities.

To provide assessments for swimmers on a termly basis.

Planning of own lessons and ensure progression through each lesson.

Pool testing and cleaning as required in preparation of lessons to be delivered.

Ongoing support from management to develop training.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Freelance

**Salary**: £18.00-£19.50 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ipswich: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
- NRASTC or equivalent/level 2 swimming teacher qualification (required)
- Safeguarding Certification (preferred)
- Swim England or STA level 2 teaching certification (required)
