Night Porter

Avisford Park Hotel has 140 bedrooms with meeting and event space for 220 delegates, with the flexibility to cater for any kind of event. We have an opportunity for a **Night Porter** to join the team at Avisford Park Hotel on a 3 night a week basis.

**The Role of Night Porter**

Working with the nights team the **Night Porter** will ensure that the hotel is ready and in great shape for guests in the morning, this will be achieved by supporting the cleanliness to ensuring breakfast is open and ready - it’s a team effort, all departments support each other. The **Night Porter** will ensure a memorable experience from every interaction from the guest arrival to the fond farewell. The **Night Porter** role will provide an attentive service overnight and ensure that all security walks and checks are carried out in a timely manner.

This role is ideal for someone who is a self-motivated, has great customer care skills with great communication and time management.

Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of common areas
- Assist guests with luggage and other requests
- Ensure all entrances, lobby, and public areas are clean and presentable
- Monitor and address any safety hazards or maintenance issues
- Support the front desk staff with guest inquiries and requests

**Skills**:

- Strong phone etiquette skills
- Previous experience in a hotel setting is preferred
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus
- Knowledge of hospitality industry practices
- Excellent guest service skills

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.25 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 24 per week
