GBR Recruitment are working exclusively with a leading high volume manufacturing business in Northamptonshire, recruiting for an experienced **Quality Management Systems Specialist.**

As the Quality Management System Specialist, your primary focus, is to update, modify & implement new quality working processes / policies across the company’s internal Software Quality Management System (QMS).

**You'll lead all aspects of the QMS**and work closely with all key areas of the manufacturing facility, including but not limited to; production, materials & parts intake, purchasing, stock control, design, finance / accounts, supply chainetc.

**What you will do**

This role ensures that the QMS is highly effective throughout the manufacturing operation. In addition, this role will lead / facilitate internal & external audits ensuring the set ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 standards are adhered to fully.

**QMS duties**:

- Site lead for all things QMS (QMS software, working processes & practices etc.)
- Manage all QMS Documentation / Data, plus SOPs creation, GMP support, QMS updates, roll out & ongoing systems maintenance.
- Lead & Support Quality Planning, Quality Assurance, Quality Control & CI.
- Internal & Supplier Audits program lead, addressing any issues / non-conformances (RCA - root cause analysis etc.)
- Quality Management reviews / analysis.
- Risk register and follow-up actions to reduce/mitigate risk.
- Quality Specification Agreements (internal, suppliers and customers).
- Responsible to maintain vital certification (ISO 9001 & ISO 14001).
- Hosts Customer & external audits (e.g., ISO 9001 etc.) resolving any issues.
- Engage in quality initiatives to continuously elevate the quality culture & drive CI.
- Lead Quality Projects working closely with the wider SMT onsite.
- Promote a Quality driven & Quality focused culture across the business.

**Attributes Required**:

- Quality Management Systems Specialist or a highly efficient user of QMS.
- Experienced in ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 quality systems & compliance of standards.
- Strong fast paced high volume manufacturing experience (FMCG, Food or other).
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and communicate optimally both externally and throughout the organization
- Skilled at analysing Quality Control data and summarizing results, as well as generating performance metrics to drive improvements.
