Project Worker - Young Carers

**Salary**: £21,000
Hours: Mon-Fri (On a temporary contract until March 23)
Young Carers Project Worker required, based in the heart of Plymouth. You will be working for a charity who provides advice, support and services to children, young carers, and their families in accordance with the aims and objectives of the service.
Roles and Responsibilities:

- Working closely with young careers on a 1:1 basis, offering support and guidance
- Using interventions to determine the best course of action when providing care
- Work with Multi-agencies, including health agencies and children services within the community
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection services
Desirable:

- Experience of working closely with children, young people and or their families
- Experience of note taking and contributing to case reports
Essential:

- Valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle
- Enhanced DBS or consent to conduct a DBS check
