Fleet Supervisor

Are you an experienced Fleet Manager/Supervisor, ideally having worked in the recycling or similar industry?

£31,213 annual salary, plus a company van, plus bonus.

What will I be doing?

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for day to day operations, working closely with the other members of the management team.

You will:
Ensure fleet compliance across the depots 70 vehicles including but not limited to:
Monitor/maintain Vision & carry out infringement/overweight interviews
Monitor/maintain the fleet service records.
Ensure weekly wheel torques are completed and evidenced
Carry out documented compliance checks on vehicles/drivers and the pre use vehicle checks carried out
Monitor defects and work alongside the maintenance provider
Schedule vehicle service & MOT
Carry out investigations
What are the requirements?

You must be able to demonstrate a good working practice and be able to make decisions accordingly.
Working with and managing a team, you must preferably have previous recycling and waste management experience.
Previous fleet experience is essential.
Experience of working within a busy logistics operation is desirable
You will require a driving licence, good IT skills and previous experience with Microsoft packages.
A HGV licence would be desirable, but is not essential.
Qualification in TMCPC is desirable
