**The Role - Supply Chain Coordinator**

Fresh People are currently looking to recruit a Supply Chain Coordinator for our client a Fresh Produce Global Business leader based in Dartford in Kent at a brand new facility. In this role as a member of the sales department, you will be overseeing fruit inventory, volume requirements and logistics. Coordinating and managing the process from packhouse to customer.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
- Implement Microsoft D365 and offline inventory control systems, working closely with the sales team & sourcing to ensure optimal inventory is always maintained.
- Managing product storage, inventory, packing & distribution.
- Maintaining customer forecasts and forecast accuracy whilst keeping an accurate record of the inventory.
- Liaising with warehouse and logistics to ensure correct pallet requirements are being allocated and product is prepared for Outloading.
- Work closely with all stakeholders to develop and implement a continuous improvement plan to improve processes and maximize operational efficiencies.
- Work in conjunction with the sales, supply chain and operational teams to ensure all sales volumes are supplied and pre-planned accounting for any external factors such as vessel changes.
- Proactively communicate daily and weekly product needs according to fruit size, pack, grade, label requirements, country of origin, volume changes and any potential changes.
- Managing logistics including inbound containers, documentation, transportation and customs clearance.
- Develop and implement cross functional process links.
- Develop and implement best practice Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) for Supply Chain & sales functions.
- Develop new and existing relationships with suppliers and customers.
