Shunter Driver

**Polypipe Building Products** are focused on delivering solutions to the residential sector. Polypipe Building Products works with national and local developers, plumbing and heating engineers, general builders and groundworkers to deliver above and below ground drainage systems, rainwater solutions as well as hot and cold plastic plumbing products.

We are currently recruiting for a full time, permanent Class 1 Shunter Driver to work in the Despatch team at our Broomhouse Lane site in Edlington, DN12 on nights only.

**Working Hours**: Monday - Thursday nights, 7:00pm - 5:00am.

**Rate of pay**:£13.47 per hour plus £2.50 per hour for hours worked between 10:00pm & 6:00am.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manoeuvring and reversing trailers safely to holding and loading bays using a shunter vehicle
- Coupling and uncoupling trailers
- Completing safety assessments
- Inspecting vehicles and trailers

**Skills & Requirements**:

- Class 1 Licence
- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment
- Experience of driving a Shunter vehicle
