Warehouse Supervisor

Staffpower Group are currently recruiting for an ever growing company based in the Spennymoor area who specialise in manufacturing of doors, windows, and garden rooms.

**We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operator to start ASAP on a temporary to permanent contract.**

**Shifts & Salary**:

- Monday to Thursday 7am - 3pm
- Friday 6am - 1pm
- Overtime available
- £13-14 per hour DOE
- Temp to perm contract

- Proved experience in warehousing and manufacturing in a similar role.
- Hold or have held a counter balance fork lift truck license with significant experience (desirable)
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling of raw materials and finished goods.
- Must be methodical and well organised.
- Keen to implement and suggest new methods if working to improve processes.
- Be able to manage and motivate a small warehouse team.
- Be able to work under pressure in fast moving manufacturing environment.
- Flexibility to work to meet the business needs.

**The Role**:

- Overseeing / Unloading of raw material delivery vehicles.
- Checking off and booking in raw material deliveries.
- Identifying over and understocked raw materials.
- Managing of a small raw material store room.
- Playing a key role in the in introduction of a raw material and finished goods barcoding system to assist with controlling stock.
- Working closely with Purchasing regarding deliveries and materials shortages etc.
- Managing the raw material stock flow and feeding production lines.
- Leasing with the various production departments and planning to ensure finished goods are available as per the delivery schedules.
- Managing the picking and checking of finished goods and all of the ancillary components.
- Supervising and assisting with the loading of delivery vehicles whilst ensuring the products are 100% checked, loaded in order and in a safe manor.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract, Temp to perm

**Salary**: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
