Antenatal Clinic Administrator

We have a fantastic 12 month secondment opportunity for the role of Antenatal Clinic Administrator at our Broomfield Hospital site.
The appointed applicant will be responsible for providing a seamless patient experience and supporting midwives and obstetricians under the direction of the Senior Midwife for Antenatal Clinic.
You will coordinate all booking referrals into the maternity service, signposting women into the right community midwifery or out of area pathway, creating the patient contract.
The appointed applicant will have responsibility for all administration that is required during antenatal midwifery & obstetric clinics.
The administrative tasks include but not limited to;
- Booking/reschedule appointments and requesting obstetric ultrasounds,
- Preparation and organising records
- Adding outcomes to Lorenzo
- Signposting next steps to women.

- To provide administrative support to the Maternity Services to include all aspects of antenatal booking and all other administration associated within the antenatal clinic maternity service.
- The post holder is expected to have a flexible and ‘can do’ approach in ensuring the work of the department is carried out in the set timeframe and meet the required high standard.
- It is essential that the post holder has good communication skills, is organised and assertive.
- To use own initiative in the completion of delegated tasks, and to seek advice appropriately
- Undertake any other duties commensurate with grade as agreed and delegated by your manager
