**Company Description**
- We are currently looking for an apprentice toolmaker within our maintenance department who has the determination to succeed as well as a desire to learn and develop within a dynamic business environment.
- The role will be 37 hours per week and report directly to the Maintenance Manager.
- The company will support you through SVQ3 level plus HNC qualifications during the 4-year apprenticeship.
- The first year will be based full time at college with the remaining 3 years based on site.
- We will provide you with the tools to become a success in our business as well as enjoy a competitive salary.
- The use of manual machines inclusive of lathes, grinders, milling m/c, bench drills.
- Disassembling, repairing and then assembling fixtures and tooling.

**Qualifications**
- 4 National Qualifications at Level 4 or above (standard grade equivalent level 3 or above).
- Mandatory for all areas are English and Maths.

**Additional Information** Skills Required**:

- Some general hands-on mechanical experience.
- Using hand power tools.
- The use of measuring instruments.
- Be able to repair manufacture tooling and fixtures to a suitable standard.
- Good computer and arithmetic skills.
- Ability to read component drawings.
- Positive attitude with a good methodical mindset.
