Performing Arts Teaching Assistant

Main responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in the delivery of engaging performing arts lessons for 2-18 year-olds, working primarily with 4-8 year-olds.
- Supervise small groups of students.
- Create a stimulating, friendly, safe, and fun environment for our students.
- Leading games and activities.
- Providing front of house support when required.
- Assisting in light admin when required.
- Contributing creatively to school productions and performances.
- Chaperoning students and/or working backstage at performances.
- Other activities as directed by the Principals.
What are we looking for:
- A love for working with children and young people.
- A love for the performing arts.
- Enhanced DBS preferred.
- Aptitude for creating and coordinating fresh, innovative material which is age appropriate.
- Reliable, punctual, organised and committed team player.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 4-7 per week
**Salary**: From £10.65 per hour
