Weaver

We are currently working in partnership with one of our prestigious têxtile clients, as we are looking for Textile Operatives, in particular Weavers and Menders. Although experience is desirable, full training will be provided. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity which is available with an immediate start.

Easily commutable via bus links from Oldham Town Centre.

**Hours of work**:
Monday - Thursday 7am - 5pm

39 hour working week over 4 days

**Temporary to Permanent**

**Rate of pay**:
£10.42 per hour

**Role Specification for Weaver**:

- Monitor looms and quality control throughout the whole process
- Repairing of any faults within the warp and weft
- Record any weaving faults
- Operating the weaving machines, adjusting tensions and speeds
- Ensure looms are kept clean
- Completion of Production Order paperwork
- General housekeeping/cleaning
- The process requires attention to detail, high levels of concentration and standing for long periods of time

**Person Specification**:

- Experience is desirable within the têxtile industry
- Good concentration and an excellent eye for detail
- Ability to learn and pick things up quickly
