The Charity Partners, a division of Brewster Partners is thrilled to be working with a children’s charity based in Leeds who have exciting plans to grow over the next 5 years with the appointment of a Trainee Fundraiser.

**The job**:
This is an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Fundraiser to join a remarkable and supportive team who are passionate about helping children in the community though Christian beliefs and providing them with tools reach their potential.

This position is full time and operates on a hybrid basis. Training will be provided.

Key responsibilities include.
- Form excellent relationships with existing and potential donors via multiple channels including over the phone, at networking events and in person meetings.
- Research potential trust funders and maintain a clear and accurate database.
- Design creative and fun social media posts capturing the essence of the organisation.
- Attend meetings, events and training.

**The person**:
This is fabulous opportunity for a person who is wanting to progress their career in fundraising. With excellent training and support from the team you will have the opportunity to part of a growing charity supporting children to become a skilled fundraising professional.

To succeed at this position, you will need to
- Passionate and motivated by fundraising, promoting an excellent charity and the valuable contributions they give to young people.
- Trustworthy, flexible, hardworking, reliable, respects confidentiality, professional, team player, teachable, quick learner, has high levels of integrity. Self-motivated and able to demonstrate excellent use of their own initiative.
- Excellent communication skills to build relationships with donors in person and over the telephone.
- Strong administration and organisational skills, ability to work to deadlines and contribute effectively to team meetings.
- Competent with IT and using MS office packages, social media platforms and CRM systems.
- Creative and a sense of fun.
