Trainee Upholsterer

**ROLE SUMMARY**:
**To be trained to undertake production activities as required to meet the needs of your internal and external customers.**

**RESPONSIBILITIES OF ROLE**:
Undertake production activities as required by the demands of the business ensuring that products are manufactured in an effective and timely manner.

Seek to continuously improve the production processes to extend efficiency, quality and meet the changing needs of the business.

Sustain a high standard of housekeeping/maintenance to ensure efficiency.

Adhere to Health and Safety practices as determined by the needs of the business and legislation.

Coach employees new to the task/process to ensure swift understanding and attainment of necessary skills.

Personal training and development to ensure personal and business success.

You may from time to time be required to undertake such other duties as the management may **reasonably** require.

**EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED WITHIN ROLE**:
Eager and quick to learn

Previous experience within a similar production environment

Attainment of 4 GCSE’s (inc. English and Maths) at grade C or above (desirable) or equivalent

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Information Technology Skills (desirable)

Ability to work as part of a team

- In order to ensure that you are able to meet these requirements, training will be given in line with business objectives._

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months
