**McLennan Group** are an accredited Mechanical & Electrical Installation & Compliance Contractor with an expert team of Mechanical & electrical engineers.

To support McLennan Groups year on year growth into 2023 we are currently looking for an experienced, accomplished, self-motivated Electrical Maintenance Manager to help maintain and support our industry leading services.

**Function**

The primary strategic function of this post is to support the line manager to ensure a structured approach to the delivering of operations across the company.

**Job Overview**

Responsible for overseeing both planned and reactive maintenance works for all the business's customers. Managing maintenance activities for the upkeep of buildings, warehouses and offices etc. Overseeing a range of custodial and maintenance activities.Resolving problems as they arise whether directly or by assembling teams to solve those issues.

You will be the primary contact for all customer queries in regard to outstanding and ongoing maintenance work. You will provide monthly updates on Pending, Progress and Completed jobs along with financial updates for senior management staff.

You will play a pivotal role in delivering excellence in customer service. You will maintain strong business relationships with customers and other business stakeholders.

**Responsibilities and Duties**

**Contract Works**
- Quoting for Maintenance and remedial works.
- Managing the scope of works for maintenance and Compliance Remedials.
- Management of the site team including sub-contractors.
- Manage and report on-site progress for compliance Remedial works.
- Attend client and contractor meetings when required.
- Responsible for organising suppliers and procurement of materials.
- Effective communication with clients with regards to project updates.
- Hiring and off hiring of plant equipment.
- Conform to site safety and risk assessments and method statements.
- Ensure the employers Health and Safety obligations are met in line with Health and Safety policies.
- Completion of RAMS for new works and communicating these to client and site staff.
- Support the line manager with financial forecasting and reporting and monthly profit and loss.

**Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality**
- Undertake 6 monthly auditing and record keeping of vehicle and office first aid boxes.
- Ensure weekly vehicle checks & PPE inspections are undertaken, completed, actioned, and filed.
- Attend and participate in monthly managers Health and Safety Meetings.
- Responsible for carrying out and evidencing the 6 monthly Fire Evacuations.
- Obtain and file under all project names LOLER certificates for any Plant equipment used by the company.

**Business Development**
- Support line manager with Business and strategic development.

**Human Resources**
- Undertake Staff reviews as required.
- Undertake inductions for all new staff.
- Undertake Disciplinaries where required.
- Support line manager with Staff recruitment.
- To undertake customer service reviews in line with ISO 9001 requirements.
- Undertake SimPro training for all new and current staff.

**General**
- Answer and direct incoming calls.
- Booking hotels for overnight stays for staff.
- Full updating of office schedule for engineers.
- Allocate jobs in SimPro to engineering staff.
- Respond efficiently to customer queries.
- Update all new and existing assets on SimPro.
- Weekly updates for pending, progress & completed work.
- Support with annual ISO audits and ensure continual compliance.
- Assist the Quality Supervisor with any training requirements.
