We are looking for a change directorate engagement lead to join our Change Directorate Support Office team to support the FCA’s ambitious portfolio of change.
The FCA Change Directorate provides expertise in regulation and business and technology change, with a current focus on project delivering the FCA’s strategic goal to become a more data led regulator.
We are creating a new team within the Change Directorate to support delivery of our change priorities, with a focus on delivering on our overall change excellence frameworks and to standards, implementation of the directorate’s people strategy, and supporting the effective operational performance of the Directorate with regards to risk and fiscal management.
What you will be doing:
You will work within the Change Directorate Support Office and works closely with the Change Directorate Senior Leadership Team and other business areas to ensure effective and timely engagement across the Change Directorate and other FCA stakeholders using a number of different channels. This role is responsible for effective, timely engagement with the Change Directorate team as well as the divisions brand and profile across the FCA and externally.
The skills and experience you will have:
- Experience providing an internal Engagement and communications service to a complex organisation including advising on communications channels, tone of voice, brand and best practice methodology- Experience in developing an engagement strategy and managing senior level stakeholders to a consensus- Experience using Content Management Systems and video editing software to upload content to the intranet.- Event management experience, including objective setting, post event evaluation, analysis and managing multiple events.
Minimum:
- Ownership of the design and delivery of the Change Directorate Engagement strategy- Creation of timely, targeted, creative and effective engagement communications aligned to the broader Change Directorate objectives- Reporting on team and wider engagement performance at senior leadership level, highlighting effectiveness of the engagement strategy
Essential:
- Own the approach and content that is published to internal customers within the FCA including the Change Directorate Pulse pages (intranet)- Working collaboratively with Central Comms teams to identify opportunities where the Change Directorate can raise profile internally and externally- Working with the Communities of Practise and Capacity Management leads, plus other internal and potentially external agencies to build the external Change Directorate Brand, positioning the FCA as an employer of choice for change professionals- Helping create content for external audiences including external speaking opportunities for the SLT, industry publications and award submissions- Developing, proposing and launching new or upgraded engagement channels to ensure the channels in use are innovative and deliver maximum impact for our communications- Drive employee engagement activities across the Change Directorate including developing and leading staff survey workshops, managing survey action plans and working with the SLT to develop make the Change Directorate a great place to work.

This new team, the Change Directorate Support Office, will play a pivotal role with regards to developing and engaging our people, driving operational rigour, management of risk and will play a key strategic role enabling effective execution of our priorities.
This role is at Lead Associate within the Corporate Family.- The salary range in London is up to £72,000 per annum plus a competitive benefits package, including a non-contributory pension- The salary range in Edinburgh & Leeds is up to £66,000 per annum plus a competitive benefits package, including a non-contributory pension
