Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced person to join our team. As the Head Cook, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the kitchen and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. If you have a passion for food, excellent leadership skills, and a strong culinary background, we encourage you to apply.

**Duties**:

- Manage and supervise the kitchen staff, including cooks and other kitchen personnel
- Oversee meal preparation and ensure that all dishes are prepared according to established recipes and quality standards
- Monitor food safety practices to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Collaborate with the management team to develop menus and create new dishes
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food preparation methods
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience working in a bar/restaurant
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Excellent cooking skills and ability to prepare a variety of dishes
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

**Salary**: £13.00-£16.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Performance bonus
- Tips

**Experience**:

- Chef: 3 years (preferred)
- Cooking: 3 years (preferred)
- Kitchen experience: 3 years (preferred)
