**CNC Precision are currently recruiting a CNC Grinder**

**DUTIES**:CNC Grinder
- Ensure compliance of Health and Safety within their own and their colleagues working environment.
- Cleanliness of work station at during and at the end of their shift.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Programming, setting and operating various types of grinding machines.
- Machines include:

- Jones & Shipman 1300X, Studer S40, Studer S145, Jones
- Use of measuring equipment such as height gauges, micrometers and bore gauges.
- daily work to lists in an attempt to follow the production schedule issued by the Team Leader
- Complete basic maintenance and upkeep of machines as per company TPM Schedule
- Adhere to all Quality, Health + Safety and Environmental Policy’s, Manuals, Objectives, Process, Procedures and Work Instructions
- Actively participate in the Think Smart/Safe program
- Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment, notifying H&S when they need replacing
- Take care not to cause harm to yourself, a colleague, visitors, customers or contractors

**EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS: CNC Grinder**

Essential:CNC Grinder
- Engineering/Manufacturing based apprenticeship
- 2+ Years relevant grinding experience outside of an apprenticeship
- Experience setting and operating CNC grinding machines
- Knowledge of pictogramming grinding cycles

**Desirable: CNC Grinder**
- Experience operating Studer grinding machines with Fanuc control
- Motorsport or Aerospace background
