CNC Setter/operator

Responsibilities:

- Set up and operate CNC turning and VMC machines to perform precision machining operations using Fanuc controls.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders to determine specifications and requirements
- Select and install cutting tools, attachments, and accessories on machines
- Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and make necessary adjustments
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy using Axiom Too 600 CMM and manual Inspection equipment
- Troubleshoot issues that may arise during the machining process
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

**Experience**:

- Previous experience operating CNC machines is required
- Knowledge of welding techniques is a plus
- Proficiency in basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Familiarity with warehouse operations, including materials handling and inventory management
- Ability to use hand tools for assembly and fabrication tasks
- Experience working with logic controllers is preferred
- Familiarity with SolidWorks or other CAD software is a plus

**Salary**: £12.00-£17.00 per hour
