Stock Controller/ General Administration Assistant

Start Date : As soon as possible
Normal Hours of Work : 37.5 hours per week.
Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 5:00pm, Friday 8:30am - 2:30pm
Annual Holidays : 25 days per year plus statutory holidays
Job Location : Leeds, LS12 4NQ (or as may be required by the Company in future)
Salary : Competitive/Negotiable
Preferred Qualifications : GCSE English & Mathematics (or equivalent)
Preferred Soft Skills : Good attention to detail, good communicator, computer literate, keen to learn new skills, works well as part of a team.
**Duties**:
Core duties will be as follows:
- Goods inward checking and associated paperwork
- Assist with First line inspection & recording as appropriate
- Booking goods received into the stock system into their assigned locations
- Ensuring stock layaways are into assigned locations
- Ensuring stock batch control to ensure full traceability
- Resolving excess stock issues - returns to stock and updating of stock system etc
- Issuing of Kitting lists, Kitting labels, Picking of Kit lists and updating stock system for items picked
- Perpetual inventory checks & associated stock system updates
- Maintenance of the Goods In and general stock areas
- Resolving all stock queries
- Stock location management
- Management & recycling of empty locations
- Creation of new locations as required
- Stock adjustments for Kitting & other anomalies
- Stock adjustments for Stock Requisition Notes
- Preparation of KPI reports & analysis for Senior Management
Submission of on-going improvement options to Senior Management
- Creation of, and maintenance of, sales data records for customers (including CRM) and stock as required.
- Preparation of Sales Order contract review documentation and organising the contract review meeting with the appropriate staff members. Input of the Sales Orders into sales system and preparation of the customer sales order acknowledgement.
- In the absence of the Procurement Specialist assisting with the component procurement process including order entry into both supplier on-line facilities and stock procurement system.
- Attendance at a range of management and project meetings with responsibility for minute taking and distribution.
- Ad-hoc duties as required.
