Are you a Stock Controller who works in the logistics and freight forwarded sector who has an eye for detail and is looking for a new challenge? If the answer is yes then this global specialist is looking for Stock Controller to join their team in the Doncasteroffice.

The aim of the role is the stock controller will be the custodian of great process and work with the shift supervisors to ensure: the operation has accurate stock locations; H&S is always compliant, inventory is available to fulfil orders, and stock informationis reported accurately to elements of the customer base daily through shift reporting and regular and timely communication to the customer services team.

- Ensuring that stock is in the correct place at the right time to deliver JIT orders
- Liaising with Customer Service, Account Managers, Operations Management and Senior Team reference pro-active and corrective stock measures.
- Utilise process Standard Operating Procedures as a point of audit.
- Planning and owning client stock takes as per company procedure.
- Accurately storing and recording stock information and completing regular cycle counts
- Monitoring discrepancies and investigating identified stock problems
- Providing comprehensive feedback on customer queries for all stock issues raised
- Understanding and prioritising issues logged and ensuring a speedy resolution using appropriate electronic data and analysis.
- Understanding inventory trend reporting, to understand themes & share with the operation.
- Reporting any issues that may result in unbudgeted costs being incurred.
- Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement programmes that drive Customer First approach.
