In response to demand, we are looking for an ambitious, patient centered phlebotomist to join our 25,000-patient practice in Kingston upon Thames.

We are not far from the main train station and are close to bus stops that serve South West London.

**Job Type**
- Part time (Range of 10-20hrs per week)
- Salary range from between £12.00 per hour - £13.00 per hour depending on experience
- Payrise each April

Duties & Responsibilities Include;
- Carrying out venepuncture in accordance with Health & Safety regulations and Infection Control guidance
- Producing and checking blood request forms
- Checking equipment
- Labelling sample bottles correctly
- Checking patients blood pressure if appropriate
- Recording information on the patients’ medical records
- Liaising with other members of the practice regarding patient centered care

Previous experience within general practice is preferred, as well as knowledge of Emis clinical system. We would support learning and development if you were new to phlebotomist role and develop your skills within the practice.
