A new and unique opportunity has arisen for a full time Band 7 NMP / Clinical Lead for the Central Rapid Intervention and Treatment Team (RITT). The team provides intensive and crisis support to the older adult population of Chorley, Preston and South Ribble. Central RITT is split, combining Home Treatment Team, and Care Home Liaison. The team support individuals who are acutely unwell, both mentally and physically and work closely with partners to provide the best care they can to the people that use our services. The two distinct functions of RITT require you to possess diverse leadership skills and an ability to ensure integration and cohesiveness of these functions.

The multidisciplinary team consists of mental health nurses, associate practitioners, occupational therapists and clinical psychologists, and is supported by consultant psychiatrists, administrators and medical secretaries. The team regularly collaborates with 3rd Sector and voluntary organisations and works closely with the Older Adult Community Mental Health Team (OACMHT) and Memory Assessment Service (MAS).

We are seeking a forward-thinking leader with extensive clinical skills who can continue to support the team to deliver high quality, evidence based interventions. You will be passionate and proactive about leadership and be able to consistently role-model excellent practice. You will be confident in your ability to teach, develop and support individuals as part of a dynamic MDT.
