Our client has an exciting position available for a new member to join their team. They are recruiting for a **Technical Support Specialist** (this is a **Hybrid** role working 2 days per work remotely) with the drive and passion to help achieve member goals whilst providing the highest levels of customer service.

Our client is a well-known Software Company whose roots stretch back to the 1980’s, they develop in-house and support cost-effective, business critical software to match their customers complex requirements as well as playing a leading role in representing forwarders interests in discussions with both government and industry bodies.

You must be a resident and entitled to work in the United Kingdom and fluent in English.

The **Hybrid Technical Support Specialist** will have the following **skills/background**;
- Experience of inputting Import & Export entries preferably using Sequoia (any comparable system is adequate as training will be given where needed).
- Be able to deal with customs clearance processes for import / export and any issues that may arise
- Good general IT knowledge
- Freight forwarding ops knowledge preferable
- Knowledge of freight software packages
- Patient with excellent customer service skills/commercial awareness
- Confident and able to communicate clearly and effectively

**Additional requirements**
- 2+ Years in Freight Forwarding Industry
- Ability to communicate and provide great customer service
- Being able to work independently and part of a team
- Able to cope under pressure and meet deadlines
- Great organizational skills
- Outgoing and forward-thinking mindset
- Ability to navigate and work efficiently using IT software

**Employment Terms**

Basic Salary of £25-35k (NEG. DOE)

Generous benefits include a package that kicks in after successful probation of pension, healthcare, life assurance and 25 days holiday plus BH

Monday - Friday (**2 remote days**) 8 hr day (working a staggered shift on a shared rota between 8am-7pm)
