In the course of a new placement, we are offering the following position for the Warehouse department of the WEPA Group as soon as possible:
**Supply Chain Operator (Initial 6 Month Tempoary Contract)**

**Your responsibilities**:

- Adherence to the health and safety policy and procedures. Safe systems of work, PPE, near miss reporting.
- Adherence to quality procedures. Reporting stock errors, labelling errors etc and recording information as requested.
- Ability to operate counterbalance trucks with various attachments to handle finished goods, jumbo reels and raw materials.
- Ability to perform stock movements which may include receiving from production, unloading incoming trailers, internal stock transfers, scanning labels to maintain stock integrity.
- Loading outbound trailers to customers and inter-company.
- Performing warehouse inventory controls via scanner and PC. Adherence to stock management systems procedures.
- JDE operation as per training. To ensure accurate stock levels are maintained for cost purposes and service levels.
- Effective communication from shift-to-shift and with supervision.
- Cross-skilled with the ability rotate with other operators on shift, flexible workforce on shift.

- Able to work under pressure and prioritise tasks.
- Good communication skills both verbally and written.
- Knowledge and operation of WMS.
- Sufficient level of numeracy and literacy, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
