Vantrunk an internationally renowned manufacturer of engineered cable management products and associated support systems for over 50 years. We have established ourselves as a leader in the development of proven and innovative cable management solutions engineered to thrive in extreme environments we are currently looking for a Welder.

Working in our Production team you will be responsible for manufacturing a range of standard and non-standard products to drawing, on time and to a high standard of work and have the ability to work under mínimal supervision and to deadlines.

General duties:

- Setting up the components and equipment for the welding process as per Job Card.
- Preparing materials and setting up jigs to ensure safe and effective assembly.
- Interpreting specifications and drawings accurately, to ensure product is within specification and within tolerance.
- MIG welding Mild and Stainless Steel
- Housekeeping - Clean As You Go
- Working knowledge of 5’s (would be advantages but not essential)

- Ability to read drawings.
- Be a quick learner and have a positive attitude to work, colleagues and management at all time.
- Dexterity and practical skills, along with being a clear, logical thinker.
- Be computer literate and proficient with IT systems within a manufacturing environment.
- An individual who is highly motivated and energetic.
- Ability to communicate well at all levels.
- The ability to keep track of key information - attention to detail is essential.
- Tenacity to seek out information and correct answers.
