Our client is recruiting a transport Supervisor To fully run the day-to-day transport operation, ensuring customer KPI’s are met, all vehicles are operated within legal parameters and drivers are managed on their individual performance. Tracking the fleet,managing both core and agency drivers and gaining maximum utilisation of the fleet available are all key components to this role.
They are looking for someone with Transport experience and want to take the next step as a supervisor or already a supervisor wanting to work at a bigger site and wanting further progression.
Skills required:
Excellent transport knowledge including driver hour rules, and vehicle/transport legislation
Experience of working in a fast-moving environment and an ability to make decision independently
Excellent people management, coaching and influencing skills
Management CPC qualification is desired but not essential
