**Cyber Security Analyst - Legal/ Law - Hybrid/ Remote Working**

**The Role**

Reporting/ working with the Head of Information Security, you will be responsible for advising on

the technical configuration of the security controls implemented across the organisation. This

includes network, server, perimeter and third-party controls that aid the technical security posture.

**Some of the responsibilities**:

- Support team to deliver a security strategy, governance framework and risk mitigation activity across the company
- Review, validate, classify and respond appropriately to security events
- In conjunction with third-party providers, analyse a variety of network and host-based alerts
- In conjunction with the HIS and third-party providers, perform initial triage and root cause analysis of security events, determine the correct remediation actions or escalation of incidents for each security event as appropriate
- Document investigations to support event conclusion and identify trends to feedback and improve control effectiveness and risk posture
- Maintain awareness of real-world cyber security threats and support cyber intelligence capabilities
- Assist in providing on-going security assurance of third-party suppliers
- To help achieve and maintain accreditations
- Supporting information security vulnerability assessments, and the resolution of security related audits, incidents or events
- Ensure that actions to address gaps in the management of security risks are agreed and tracked to completion
- Delivering technical security products, services and practices in line with Information Governance Strategy
- Assisting in developing and on-going support of security metrics for senior stakeholders.

**Skills/ Experiences**
- 2 years' experience working in technical cyber/ information security role
- A minimum 3 - 5 years' experience in an IT role
- All round technical understanding of IT systems
- Strong administration and coordination skills
- Develops their own knowledge and skills to meet the demands of the role
