Are you a passionate animal lover looking for a rewarding job? We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic individual to join the Oh My Paws team as a Dog Walker & Pet Sitter.
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide compassionate and attentive care for dogs and other pets in the client's absence.
- Conduct safe and enjoyable walks for dogs, ensuring their well-being.
- Walk up to 4 dogs at a time, maintaining control and ensuring their safety during outings.
- Administer medication, if needed and follow specific care instructions as provided by pet owners.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of pet areas, including cleaning up after pets during walks and in-home visits / pet sits.
- Communicate effectively with the team and clients to provide updates on pets' well-being and any notable behaviours or concerns.
- Be willing to walk in all weather conditions and not afraid to get a bit muddy
- Have your own car or reliable access to a car to safely transport dogs to and from locations of the walks.
- Passion for animals and a genuine interest in their well-being.
- Previous experience working or owning dogs or other pets is essential.
- Ability to confidently and safely handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments, including walking **up to 4 dogs simultaneously.**
- Be reliable and have excellent time management.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanour when interacting with clients and members of the public.
- Availability to potentially work weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed.
**- Full clean UK drivers license, having access to a reliable vehicle and be willing to get business car insurance.**
**You will also be required to undergo a police/ DBS check.**
This position is based in **Eastbourne and surrounding areas.**
