Our client are specialists in their market sector, they are looking for an experienced CNC Turner who has mazak experience to join their team on a permanent basis.

**Job Specification**:
**The Job you’ll do**
- Be able to read & edit existing CNC programs, have the ability to select the correct tooling to complement alterations within the process.
- Upload / Download programs, set machines and monitor/inspect production alter tool offsets and operate the machine until batch is complete.
- Monitor tool wear, adjust offsets, and replace tooling when necessary, ensuring correct operation of the machine.
- Must be time served and be able to produce components accurate to drawing.
- Ensure all work; tasks, procedures and documentation meet the requirements of ISO 9001.
- Ensure paperwork is complete in an accurate and timely manner.
- Take responsibility for the work area ensuring high standards of housekeeping at all times.
- Demonstrate good team working ethic and commitment to highest quality standards.
- Always follow health and safety requirements.
- Comply with the Integrated Management System (IMS) and minimise any impact on the environment whilst carrying out their duties.
- Ensure and promote safe working conditions for all employees, visitors and contractors by implementing, monitoring and complying with occupational health & safety provisions.

**About You**
- College qualification, NVQ desirable.
- Industry experience of a working machine shop is essential.
- Mid/High volume manufacturing experience is desirable.
- Ideally STAR experience.
- Time served apprenticeship.
- CNC Turning experience.
- Experience working on the following types of machines.
- Haas machining centre.
- Star sliding head lathes.
- Mazak turning machines.
- Understanding of SPC.
