Job Title: Factory Cleaner

Location: Caerphilly

Pay Rate: £21,400 P/A

Contract: Permanent

Shifts: Monday - Friday

gap personnel Cardiff, are looking for a experienced Factory Cleaner in Caerphilly.

You will be joining a company who is a world class provider of contract manufacturing services.

**Duties**
- Ensure the following tasks are complete in line with the methods and frequencies communicated via your line manager
- Waste, recycling and shredding bins are emptied, with waste material being transported to the designated area.
- All floors are cleaned on a daily basis using the appropriate methods. This may involve using appropriate machinery such as buffers or powered floor washers.
- Ledges, window sills, external surfaces of cupboards, radiators, shelves and fitments are dusted, damp wiped, washed or polished.
- Internal window glass and internal and external door glass is cleaned as and when required.
- Consumable items such as soap, toilet rolls, paper towels are replenished if required.
- Toilets, urinals, hand basins and sinks are cleaned on a daily basis.
- Ensure approved cleaning materials are used appropriately, as instructed by manufacturers and in line with COSHH regulations and economically. Chemicals should never be mixed.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are in good working order and if not, any concerns are reported to your line manager.
- Where practicable windows and doors should be closed and lights switched off.
- Contribute to major cleaning tasks as and when required.
- Ensure that adequate supplies of cleaning materials and equipment are available to enable you to complete your duties to the required level.
- Ensure that all company operating values and compliance procedures are adhered to at all times, including quality management, health and safety, legal stipulation, environmental policies and general duty of care.
- Any other duties deemed necessary.

- Trustworthy,
- able to maintain confidentiality and work discreetly
- Previous experience in a cleaning role
