Job description
- Ensuring women from the Bangladeshi and generally Black and Minoritised Ethnic backgrounds, who are experiencing Violence against Women and Girls (VAWG) are provided with advocacy and support in a trauma informed way
- Working with a range of clients, including those with complex needs
- Promoting multi-agency awareness and coordinated service delivery between VAWG, housing, legal, mental health and substance use agencies
- Supporting and enabling women affected by VAWG to reduce risk, make informed choices and build self esteem
- Building and maintaining effective relationships across statutory and voluntary sector partners
- Providing training on the needs of Black and Minoritised Ethnic women, particularly those from Bangladeshi and South Asian background
