Overview of the role
As an inventory controller, you will be joining a small team responsible for executing daily and weekly core tasks to ensure that the stock accuracy is maintained. You will be completing stock counts/checks within our main automated warehouse, controlled drugs area and cold storage room.

Other core tasks will be pallet validation, inventory level and expiry investigations, expiry validation and stock rotation as well as maintaining WMS for all site stocks & highlighting stock at risk to the business to minimise write-off.

**You will be working 4 week rotating shift pattern**

Week 1 Monday-Friday 11:30-20:00

Week 2 - 4 Monday
- Friday 06:00-14:30

Main Responsibilities
- Complete all set daily critical tasks and allocated ad-hoc queries accurately and timely ensuring all subsequent KPIs are filled in.
- Full stock counts, Daily/Weekly/Monthly
- Ensure stock accuracy of inventory levels
- Facilitate the correct order of stock FEFO (First Expiry First Out)
- Ensure all “in-stocks” remain available for sale
- Investigation of customer queries
- Police site stocks, positively challenging / reporting anything out of location
- Action product recall tasks, timely and accurately to control risk to patient safety.
- Support team members as required to ensure the success of the overall department performance.
- Ensure all MHRA guidelines are adhered to.

**Key knowledge and skills required**:

- Must have good organisational skills and to be adept at multi-tasking as the role involves multiple workstreams that can be ongoing at any one time.
- Confident and accurate communication with various departments & levels
- Ability to manage own time, the role involves working to deadlines and completing time critical tasks.
- Must demonstrate high attention to detail and take a logical thinking approach to tasks
- Pallet racking validation will require the use of MHE, On site training will be provided.
- Inventory & Microsoft office experience will be preferred
- Flexibility towards work is essential, as overtime/shift changing may be required

**Problem solving & Change**:

- Applicants must be confident in their own decision making.
- Must be competent in maths and have a strong ability to count (Role requires counting stock in several areas
- applicant must have the ability to count and calculate the overall stock holding)
- Need to be able to work in fast paced environment.
- Ability to carry out an investigation which may include looking into a number of POs/adjustments/reports
